The bible likens us to clay and God is the potter. The potter is the one who shapes the clay, not the other way around. God has a way of doing things in our lives that we may not agree with or understand at the moment, but as He shapes us, and as we cooperate, we begin to see that God has plans for us far greater than our plans for ourselves.
