Feel like you’re drowning? Feel like the flames of oppression are consuming you? Don’t feel alone because we all have been in those situations. Isaiah 43:2 addresses this common occurrence among men: 

“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” 

So what’s the single truth we must hold onto when we are going through the water and fire? What’s the point that we need to remember? Let’s open our hearts to Holy Spirit to answer this question.
